Make sure everyone knows whose keys are whose

Many homes have a drawer with all the families keys get put and when you open the draw to get your set out you have to fish through them all to figure out which is your set of keys.

One way to alleviate this problem is to make sure every set of keys is on its own keyring, so if you have a family you could all have your own set of keys on a keyrings wit your own initial on. The initial keyrings are also good if you have lots of sets of keys for different purposes, for instance you may have a Shed key, a Front door key, Car key, Gate key, you could easily assign each key with it's own relevant initial letter keyring, so a letter S for the Shed key, a letter G for the Gate key, an F for the front door key etc. You will know your reference for each but it would take anyone else some time to decipher too which is no bad thing for security reasons.
